Windows Server 2012R2 – « Object reference not set to an instance of an object »

Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2

Problème

Parfois l’installation d’une feature ou d’un rôle sur Windows Server 2012R2 échoue avec une erreur du type « Object reference not set to an instance of an object ». J’ai principalement vu ce soucis après l’installation de la KB3000850 et dès l’utilisation de la GPO “Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair” pour installer .NET Framework 3.5.

Cause

Mise à jour Microsoft (KB3000850)
GPO “Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair”

Solution

Vérifier que le service Windows Update est démarré
Installer l’hotfix Microsoft Windows8.1-KB3062960-x64.msu (Save as)
Redémarrer le serveur
